What is Ultra Pure Water?
- Ultra pure water (UPW) is water purified to the highest standards, with extremely low levels of ions, organics, particulates, bacteria, and endotoxins.
- Essential for laboratories, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and any application where even trace contaminants can affect results or processes.
- Produced using advanced multi-stage systems: reverse osmosis, deionisation, UV, ultrafiltration, and final polishing cartridges.
- UPW is classified as Type I (highest purity), meeting or exceeding ASTM, ISO, and CLSI standards.
Membrapure Ultra Pure Water Systems
- Astacus²: Compact, touchscreen-controlled system for producing Type I UPW from RO or DI feed. Up to 2 L/min, resistivity 18.2 MΩ·cm, TOC < 3–10 ppb, < 1 cfu/mL bacteria, < 0.001 EU/mL endotoxins (Life Science model).
- Aquinity² P10: Produces Type I UPW directly from tap water. Integrated 10L tank, up to 8 L/h, resistivity 18.2 MΩ·cm, TOC < 3–10 ppb, < 1 cfu/mL bacteria.
- Aquinity² P35/P70: For higher volumes, produces both Type II and Type I water. External 35L or 70L tank, up to 10–20 L/h, resistivity 18.2 MΩ·cm, TOC < 3–10 ppb, < 1 cfu/mL bacteria, < 0.001 EU/mL endotoxins (Life Science model).
